1) Summary
Wrappi.io is an informational explorer for Pi Network. We aim to collect the minimum data necessary to run the site. Authentication and optional donations use the official Pi SDK.
2) Data We Process
- Pi username: Provided by the Pi SDK when you authenticate. Used to create a session.
- Public wallet address (optional): If you donate via the Pi SDK, your public address may be visible to us through the payment flow.
- Session token (JWT): Created after Pi authentication and stored on your device (e.g., localStorage) to authorize requests to Wrappi APIs. We do not use cookies.
- Basic logs: We may keep minimal server logs (e.g., request timestamps, status codes) for reliability and abuse prevention. These logs generally do not identify you.
3) What We Do Not Collect
- No passwords or private keys.
- No cookies, ad trackers, or third-party analytics pixels.
- No sensitive categories of personal data.
4) How We Use Data
- To authenticate you via the Pi SDK and operate Wrappi features.
- To authorize API requests with your JWT.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the service (e.g., aggregate usage, error debugging).
5) Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your data. We may disclose minimal information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the service. Transactions and addresses you share through the Pi SDK are subject to Pi Network’s policies and on-chain visibility.
6) Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your wallet, device, and any approvals in the Pi SDK.
7) Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law. JWTs live on your device until you sign out or clear storage. Server logs are rotated periodically.
8) Your Choices
- You can avoid sign-in; most reads are public.
- You can clear localStorage to invalidate your JWT on this device.
- You can choose not to donate; donations are optional.
9) Children
Wrappi is not directed to children. Do not use Wrappi if you are prohibited from doing so by the laws that apply to you or by Pi Network’s terms.
10) International Use
Wrappi is globally accessible. Your data may be processed in the jurisdiction where Wrappi operates or where our hosting providers are located.
11) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use means you accept the updated Policy.
